CLIMATE:

Nerja is a part of what is referred to as “Costa Tropical”. It is a Sub-tropic micro climate,  stretching 30 kilometers along the southern coast of Spain with roughly 300 days of sun per year allowing, for instance, Avocados to grow.
This micro climate also contributes to the mild weather during winter time, which can be several degrees hotter than the rest of the coast, even as close as Malaga.
